Midgarian Technology

While most of the Midgarian artifacts seem to point at a techno-logical age similar to that of the Egypitians and Greeks, there are some significant technological advances. They seem to have had both an electrical and water systems. Their writing appears to have been a form of runic, which is still being decifered.

The Gate seems to of alien technology different from that of the Midgarians. A similar technology is found at the Towers encircling Midgar Haven. This suggests that either the Midgarians learned to replicate the alien technology, or that the aliens had some hand in their construction.
